review of 36 studies found stress most negatively affects the egg-

Environment & reproductive health.
Air pollution is linked to measurably lower IVF success — exposure
in the two weeks before egg collection was associated with a 38%
lower chance of a live birth — and the same air quality matters
inside the embryology lab, where airborne chemical compounds
(VOCs) can disrupt embryos during the days they spend
developing in culture. Chronic urban noise, meanwhile, keeps the
body in a constant state of low-level stress.
